- Documentation of relevant registration documents and proof of good standing
with the Jordanian government.
- Organizational structure.
- Financial status.
- History of effective project implementation (particularly as related to
economic development) demonstrated through Past Performance References.
- Demonstrated active membership (with no outstanding fees) representing a
broad segment of beneficiaries from varying economic and social backgrounds
(including women & minorities).
- Presence in rural and urban areas.
- Degree of specialization of staff / volunteers' tasks.
- Financial management capability.
- Defined mission statement.
- Implemented 4+ micro-projects with external funding.
- Worked in multiple sectors and geographic regions.
- Leveraged funding from different sources .
- Essential organizational skills are demonstrated, and include how to
recruit, train, and manage a volunteer network.
- Cadre of local experts, consultants and trainers in non-profit management
exists with network for identifying trainers and consultants.
- Trained in higher level topics such as: legal and tax issues for CBOs,
accounting and bookkeeping, communication skills, volunteer management, media
and public relations skills, sponsorship and fundraising.
- Low overhead expense ratios.
